SqlFloat (Pascalscript)

Description

Converts a Pascal floating point number into an SQL string that can be processed by the SQL server as a number.

Syntax

function SqlFloat(const E : Extended): string;

Arguments

The floating point value specified in E is converted into a number string that can be processed by the SQL server. The result can be linked directly with other SQL commands.

Example

var
  E: Extended;
begin
  E:=12.23;
  ShowMessage(SqlFloat(E));
end;

In this example, the value 12.23 is assigned to floating point variable E. The SqlFloat function converts the floating point value into an SQL string.

ShowMessage shows: 12.230
