var
  S1: String;
  S2: String;
begin
  S1:='Today we test the conversion';
  S2:=AnsiLowerCase(S1);
  ShowMessage(S2);

Rules to understand the script can be found here.

The text 'Today we test the conversion' is assigned to the string variable S1. The function AnsiLowerCase converts the text into lowercase letters and assigns the result to the string variable S2. The new text is output via ShowMessage.

ShowMessage shows: today we test the conversion
