AnsiUpperCase (Pascalscript)

Description

AnsiUpperCase converts the characters in a string into uppercase letters.

Syntax

function AnsiUpperCase(const S: string): string;

Arguments

AnsiUpperCase returns a copy of the string specified in S in a capitalized string. The current Windows locale is taken into account during the conversion. This function supports multibyte character sets (MBCS).

Example

var
  S1: String;
  S2: String;
begin
  S1:='Today we test the conversion';
  S2:=AnsiUpperCase(S1);
  ShowMessage(S2);
end;

Rules to understand the script can be found here.

The text 'Today we test the conversion' is assigned to the string variable S1. The function AnsiUpperCase converts this text to capital letters and assigns the result to the string variable S2.

ShowMessage shows: TODAY WE TEST THE CONVERSION
