MatchStr (Pascalscript)

Description

The MatchStr function converts all characters to uppercase and replaces all umlauts in their equivalents UE, OE, etc.

Syntax

function MatchStr(const S: string): string;

Arguments

The function converts the text S into uppercase letters and converts all umlauts as specified in the table into their equivalents OU, UE, etc.

The following values apply to the code:

The text 'schöner Ärger' is assigned to the string variable S1. The MatchStr function converts the umlauts according to the table above. The result is assigned to S2.
