UpperCase (Pascalscript)

Description

UpperCase converts a string to uppercase.

Syntax

function UpperCase(const S: string): string;

Arguments

UpperCase converts the contents of S to uppercase. Only 7-bit ASCII characters between'a' and'z' are taken into account during the operation.

Example

var
  S1: String;
  S2: String;
begin
  S1:='Heute testen wir das Umwandeln';
  S2:=UpperCase(S1);
  ShowMessage(S2);
end;

Rules to understand the script can be found here.

The text 'Heute testen wir das Umwandeln' is assigned to the string variable S1. The UpperCase function converts this text to uppercase letters and assigns the result to the string variable S2.

ShowMessage shows: HEUTE TESTEN WIR DAS UMWANDELN
