Update

General information

In principle, an update is always the installation of a full version. This means that an update does not patch an existing version, but always completely replaces it.

The update, i.e. the installation of the eulanda.msi file only replaces the program file eulanda.exe. No changes are made to the Windows registry configuration or other system DLLs or other files on your PC. After calling EULANDA® and starting the client, only the database is extended and modified so that it corresponds to the new program structure. For this reason it is important to back up the database and the old program status.

Way of proceeding

You are using an older version than EULANDA® 2012 (internal 4.5.x)?

If the current SQL server (11.0.6248) is installed, you can perform the update by clicking on the "Update button". Prerequisite is that the current license for version 2017 has been installed.

If you are not using the current SQL server, all intermediate updates up to and including version EULANDA® 2017 (internal 7.0.11.7001) must be performed. The intermediate versions are located on the EULANDA FTP server at ftp://ftp.eulanda.eu and there in the Archive folder.

You are using a version EULANDA® 2014 (internal 5.0.x)?

If the current SQL server (11.0.6248) is installed, you can perform the update by clicking on the "Update button". Prerequisite is that the current license for version 2017 has been installed.

If you are not using the current SQL server, all intermediate updates up to and including version EULANDA® 2017 (internal 7.0.11.7001) must be performed. The intermediate versions are located on the EULANDA FTP server at ftp://ftp.eulanda.eu and there in the Archive folder.

You are using a version EULANDA® 2015 (internal 6.1.x)?

To install, simply click on the "Update button" in your start menu. The system checks whether a new version is available. If you have a sufficient license, the update will be installed in a few minutes.

If you have received a new license file, simply copy the cneulreg.txt file to the desktop of your PC on which the EULANDA was installed. Import the license under Accessory Settings Licensing and then click on "Update" in the satellite menu.

In exceptional cases, proceed as follows

If you are updating to a device not connected to the Internet or the update does not work for other reasons via the "Update button", it is possible to replace the eulanda.exe. This is only possible if you are using version 6.1. Otherwise, you must perform the conversion using intermediate versions and the corresponding SQL Server.

1st step

Read the current license into your current EULANDA as described above.

2nd step

Go to our FTP server ftp.eulanda.eu in the "UPDATE" folder. There you can download the order EULANDA 7.x.xx.xxxx (ZIP file). Select"extract all" in the right mouse menu and unzip the.zip file.

3rd step

Copy the eulanda.exe contained there into the directory in which your current EULANDA is contained and replace the old.exe file.

4th step

Start the new.exe from the EULANDA directory with a double click. Now all that is needed is a database backup and database update.
