Settings and autostart

General

You can use this tab to set the functions of the optional radio server.

Activated menu items

EULANDA® supports the radio server with different functions. The radio server license entitles you to use each of these program items.

Since not all menu items are required at the same time, you can switch off individual items so that your radio terminal has a "slim" range of functions. For example, you only need to activate the physical inventory during the physical inventory time.

If the configuration is carried out on the PC to which the radio base station is also connected, the changed menu items are immediately active on the next radio contact after pressing the "Apply" button, otherwise EULANDA® must be restarted on the relevant PC to effect the changes in the radio terminal.

Assigning the function keys

The function keys F1 to F10 can be assigned SQL program modules. If a module is assigned to the F1 key, the active menu items can no longer be selected via this key
The program modules are available as SQL procedures and can be supplemented by solution partners as required. Some modules are delivered as standard with EULANDA and can be selected via the selection box for the respective function key.

These are special article search and display masks, e.g. with packaging units, graduated prices, etc. The last item number scanned can be suggested in the display of the device so that the article no longer has to be scanned again when the module is changed.

Configure autostart

If a COM port and a PC name are specified, the radio server module is automatically started when EULANDA® is started. As an alternative to the PC name, EULANDA® can also be started with the command line parameter "-piccolink". This also forces the autostart mode. Combined with the client, a shortcut can then "restart" the complete system.

Ports COM1 to COM9 are supported. The radio base station can be connected to the PC via a serial/USB converter cable and the manufacturer's driver must be installed once in
order to operate the radio server. You can find the driver on the EULANDA CD or by download directly from the manufacturer under "PlServer".

As an alternative to serial communication, EULANDA® can also listen to the network and thus take various "antennas" into account. This allows extremely large areas to be covered.

Approved devices

In the text fields (F1 - F10) the device numbers of your radio scanners are inserted which are allowed to establish a connection with your database (=clients).

You can find the device numbers of your wireless servers on your device or you can see them under Accessories/Radio Servers on the Driver tab. After the first radio contact, the device number is displayed there.

Configure shipping module

Settings for the shipping module

Packing list

The shipping module is able to print packing lists that are in the queue at the push of a button. The packing list is only printed once and then removed from the queue. If the packing list is printed via the console, it is also removed from the queue. This allows the warehouse manager to print out the packing list at the console.

Bulletin

The name of the packing list report template can be set via this selection box. The default value for this is "cnsoft.delivery note.packing list". Please note that report templates that have been set to"Not visible" in report management are not available in the selection box.

printer group

The radio server supports its own printer group so that the packing list can also be printed automatically on other printers. In this way, one and the same form can be used to control different printers automatically. The default value for the printer group is"LISTS", but it is recommended to create a separate printer group for this in the report management, e.g."PICCOPACK".

Bill of delivery

After a packing list has been completed via the radio server by scanning the command code, the reserved delivery note is booked and printed out.

Bulletin

The name of the delivery note report template can be set via this selection box. The default value for this is "cnsoft.delivery note.delivery note". Please note that report templates that have been set to"Not visible" in report management are not available in the selection box.

Printer group

So that one and the same delivery note template can be used for the radio server and for normal console operation, the radio server supports its own printer group for the delivery note. In this way, one and the same form can be used to control different printers automatically. The default value for the printer group is"STANDARD", but it is recommended that you create a separate printer group for this in report management, e.g."PICCOSTD".

Number of printouts

The number of prints for delivery notes can be specified depending on the destination country. This makes it possible, for example, to print out several copies of delivery notes for customs clearance abroad and only one copy in Germany, for example. EULANDA® distinguishes three possibilities to specify the number: Domestic, European and other foreign countries. As a special option, delivery notes can only be printed out if a delivery address (even if it is the same as the billing address) is specified in the order.

Bills

After the delivery note has been printed, it is converted into an invoice and an invoice is printed.

Settings for the "Invoices" shipping module

Bulletin

The name of the invoice report template can be set via this selection box. The default value for this is"cnsoft.invoice.invoice". Please note that report templates that have been set to"Not visible" in report management are not available in the selection box.

In this way, one and the same form can be used to control different printers automatically. The default value for the printer group is"STANDARD", but it is recommended that you create a separate printer group for this in report management, e.g."PICCOSTD".

Libra

The radio server supports an electronic scale for reading out the package weights. To do this, the balance must be connected to the same PC to which the wireless server is connected. The setting of the balance is made on the"Balance" tab. Packages can be transferred to the stack using this link. This means that if a shipment consists of several packages, all packages can be weighed at the scale and the weights are then picked up by radio scanner from the scale module.
